One annoying glitch is when SMS suddenly sends when I am halfway through typing. It was the same with nexus 4. Does anyone have a solution?

Go to the carrier's store and try one of their Nexus 5 phones. If it still happens, it's something you're doing. Ask an associate to watch what you're doing to see if they can catch what you're doing wrong.

Have got someone to oversee me but it still happens. The ' send' is on a separate line to the message so it is hard to see how I could hit that by mistake.
Any other suggestions?

What is the last key that you tap before it Sends? Is it always the same - the return key, for example - or does it happen following different keystrokes?

Other suggestions:
- Settings, Storage, Cached Data, clear cache.
- Safe Mode.

What is the length of the messages you are trying to send?

Any key, any length of message, just random. In fact I think it sometimes happens when I am thinking, not typing.
