Snapchat Filters live preview

Is anyone else having issues with Snapchat filters? They worked OK (or at least I think they did, don't use them often haha) on the S20, but now on a Note I tried a few and some are 'missing' the live preview. For instance, the baby, woman, old, and anime face filters (well, not the anime since that's a new one) used to show a live preview of what the filter did on the S20, and recording video applied the filter continuously. Now, on the Note, these only have a face wire frame that lights up green if the face is recognized, but no live preview of the effect (it does apply the effect once the picture is taken, however). In video it's even worse, because it applies the filter to the very first frame, with the rest of the video just playing behind the effect without updating it.

I tried it on a Tab S6 and S7 and they also have the same issue with those filters.

Also, not all filters have this issue. Some have live previews and video recording without problems. Weird!

I've had similar issues recently on my Note 8, don't use snapchat that often for the filters but it seems hit or miss whether they load or not. Wish I had a fix for you.

Just an update (and to be fair, I don't really know when it happened) but the filters are back showing the live preview (and video is now available too).
