Snapchat masks?

Hello everyone, I bought my wife an S10e for mothers day and she loves the phone, she upgraded from her iPhone 6. Anyway, she's always using Instagram and snapchat with her friends and the is some new masks that you can use that turn you into a child or you can change your face to the opposite sex lol. On to the question, on her old phone, she could use the masks while recording video, on this new phone, it has a blue outline of a head that you must line up on your face and you can only take photos. Is there setting she's missing?

It's an android thing. Sorry. iOS still ahead when it comes to social apps functionality.

They introduced those masks with the ability to record video. But those videos were soooo choppy and made the phone throttle so hard that they just removed the feature from Android devices.

iOS is iOS for a reason.

Thanks for the reply, my Note 9 seems to be able to do tee video portion just fine. I'm thinking it might just be the phone model. I've asked this same question on other forums and got zero responses.
