AC Question

Ok so I have been looking to see if anyone else had this issue but I haven't found anything. When I take a picture on Snapchat I can tell that it resizes it. It is more noticeable when I take selfies because I can see how it makes my face look not as long. Also when I add bitmojis or text after I post my snap they will not be where I placed them. Like if I put it near the edge of the screen I notice because the text or bitmoji will be cutoff. Also if I purposely place a bitmoji over something I am trying to cover, after posting it will not be in the same spot so what I am trying to cover is clearly visible. Has anyone else had these type of issues and if so how do I fix it??

They have a maximum picture size. If you upload a picture that's larger it gets compressed (and evidently, from what you say, the edges sometimes get cut off). Set your camera app to a smaller picture size when you're taking a picture to upload to SnapChat. (Evidently they can't handle 4k pictures yet - try something like 1480X720 and see if that appears the way you took it. (There should be some place in the Settings of the Camera app to change that. Pick one that's lower resolution. If you want, you can go down one step at a time, until you find the highest resolution SnapChat won't compress.)
