For those of us that are still using a Note 4, what would the new 835 in the new phones be compared to our 805? Is it like a Yugo vs a Ferrari, or is that way over the top? Just curious.

Most of this stuff is all relative to us.
As the processors get updated, so do apps and the operating system. Apps get more complicated and require more processing, operating system too gets more complicated and requires more cpu power.
Yes you will notice a difference but in my opinion id rather have to much power and have a device be more battery efficient and throttle down then have a device be under powered and stuttering and struggling to work properly.

For day to day use CPU technology has come to a crawl.
Stuff like opening apps, sending texts and web browsing you're most likely not going to see much of a difference.

For gaming and coding, yes there will be a difference at play.

At the end of the day I ask myself "How much faster can Facebook open?!"

Side by side to an S7Edge it is barely a difference in those type of apps.

Literally a hair faster in favor of the S7Edge.

Then again, my phone is rooted and "optimized", so it's not really a fair comparison.

Still holding on to the Note 4, though.

Ram management needs to be refined on Samsung phones, heck all phones for that matter. And a newer battery technology needs to be created and implemented.
