Snow

My daughter has a S4. She dropped it in snow. My mother in law took the battery out and put the phone and battery in a big bowl of rice. Hopefully this can save the phone. Has anyone gone through something like this? Please, any info you guys can provide me with would be appreciated. Thanks all

Please read Oh, no! My Phone got Wet!. If most of the snow got wiped off before it melted, or the snow was fresh and clean, the phone might still be saveable.
