Have you tried Snowball which is no longer supported or available on Google Play? For me this is the best smart notification app.

Since its no longer being updated, I am looking for a alternative. Any suggestions?

yes, indeed. Snowball is no longer supported or on the app store but you Can get the APK if you look online. It's a free app that transforms your notification shade into a super useful and organized source of info.

This mainly applies to people like me who get lots of alerts from news apps and Twitter. Tweets for example, which are generally short and contain a link, show up with the images and a preview of the news stories that are being tweeted.

it also previews sms messages, emails, and other notifications from apps and Android itself. You can swipe each message away once read, or mark them as important or block them.

All of this is accessed by simply pulling down the shade. It's a great app. The last updated version is still great despite being a couples years old.
