So, after being out for a while now, does the Pixel 2 have any definitive perks over the 2XL?

I had the Pixel 2XL for about 8 months and absolutely loved it. I'm temporarily on a Note 9, but plan on getting the Pixel 3XL at launch.

My question is, other than screen size preference and battery capacity, are there any inherent pros to the 2 over the 2xl?

Inplan on picking up a 2 or a 2XL as a spare, and was just curious about any differences before I choose one.

The overly discussed "blue tint upon tilting the screen" is not present on the Pixel 2. If you never noticed the blue tint problem on your 2 XL or, like me thought it was overly hyped, then no, I don't think there are any other differences besides battery and screen size (and screen resolution).

I noticed, but after 1 day, I didn't care... Lol. Never noticed it again.

If it makes a difference, the 2 is made by HTC, and the 2XL by LG.

Other than the size of the phone and price, the Samsung panel is the main reason to pick the Pixel 2. The LG panel on the 2xl has had more issues (blue tint, black crush, burn in, etc).

The 2xl was brighter at launch but a software update lowered max by 50 nits to prevent burn in. Now max brightness is about the same as Pixel 2.
