I rooted my droid thinking that it would be great and I would have great performance and be able to customize my phone instead I get an unstable crap factory! I force closes all the time and is so annoying It fails me all the time is so unreliable! I use the permission fixer in ROM manager unfortunately that does nothing! Am I missing something or is Rooting my phone the dumbest thing I've ever done?.

Did you install a new rom or are you still running stock? What have you done to the phone since you rooted? These are all questions that will help forum members help you. The more you can tell us the better.

I've got 3 incredibles running great on custom roms. One for my mom, one for my sister-in-law, and one as a backup player for me.

And the incredible is amazingly well supported. So don't give up. It gets alot better. )

Run Cyanogenmod 7.0.3 and all will be answered.

What ROM were you using?

Something got messed up - you probably deleted something that you shouldn't have. Simply obtaining root access to the phone doesn't touch a thing - it's when you start changing stuff that shouldn't be changed that the glitches happen.
