I went with the 128GB version of the phone. Historically, I've always recorded video at 1920 (2k)? Anyway, now that we get unlimited storage from Google Drive is there any reason not to do everything in 4k and simply move it all to the cloud?

I'm not sure stabilization works Inn 4k...that's the inky reason I can think of.
Don't need to record in 4k all the time. Day to say regular stuff you can record in 1080p. If any function like birthday and parties you can record in 2k. If your out on travel to great scenic places then definitely use 4k so you can preserve those memories at the best possible resolution.I went with the 128GB version of the phone. I always record in 4K. I want to try and futureproof my videos as much as possible
It was no use to record everything in 4k. Recording your friend sleeping in 4k? No. Recording your doughter mariage in 4k? Absolutely yes. But it's all depend on you. You may take more time just to save your 4k vid's on the cloud. Just my opinion.
You're going to go into settings and change the quality based on what you're about to film. That makes no sense.
Why would you record your friend sleeping ? Lol.It was no use to record everything in 4k. Recording your friend sleeping in 4k? No. Recording your doughter mariage in 4k? Absolutely yes. But it's all depend on you. You may take more time just to save your 4k vid's on the cloud. Just my opinion.
