According to these guys How to take a screenshot on the T989 SGS2? - Mobile Product Support Forums it's a button combo. I think they're full of it though. Wish i could help more but i haven't had my hands on an S II for a while.

It's done pushing the power and the home buttons. The trick is to do them at the same time. I tried about a dozen times before
I got it to work.
