So, I was over a friend's house the other day, playing cards. They had the TV tuned to Jeopardy. Suddenly, I happen to notice a commercial for the Thunderbolt. Of course, I didn't capture it, but I do vaguely remember the script. It was somewhat typical of an HTC commercial, though they certainly went with much more high-energy music than the little piano medley they usually use. The announcer's bit went something like this:
"You have a need for speed. You have a dog named Wifi. To you, 'buffering' is a dirty word. You need a phone that's as fast as you. You need the HTC Thunderbolt. With blazing fast 4G-LTE speeds, it'll easily keep up with you."
It showed off Skype video chat, and they also apparently tied the thing to a remote control helicopter by its kickstand. Don't have the video, sadly, but has anyone else seen this commercial? If so, why haven't we heard a release date, yet, when they're bombarding the airwaves with an ad blitz?
