So...since Marvell announced the world's first 1.5 GHz tri-core processor they have been very quite as far as hardware partners..

I wonder if anyone will pick up this chipset? and if so would Tegra then become old news?

Panda...

I would guess that the tri core might go into the next round of tablets maybe. But for rite now its doubtful any manufactures will be throwing into their phones afterall duel is still taking off. Software needs to catch up with hardware before it will even be remotely necessary to have a "tri-core"

Not quiet enough :p

Look at any Linux bug tracker for the words Marvell semiconductor. Waste of silicon...

deff agree with johnnyandroidseed they need to step up there software before getting this

I think that chip might get lost in the mayhem, after all, but Qualcomm and Nvidia announced quad cores already.

yep NVIDIA already stated late summer for quad core phones. n.tablets

At the moment, and for a fairly foreseeable future, as fast as a dual-core, or quad-core in most general use.

Now after Android is written to take advantage of two, three, even four cores.. then blazing fast I'd imagine.
