So, my Razr Maxx is a single-core phone?

I just ran a Quadrant Benchmark test and it only detected one core. I thought the Razr was a dual core phone. What's going on?

Your razor Maxx is a dual core phone. quadrant not detecting the second core could be because gingerbread is not optimized for dual cores like ics is. But benchmarks in general are just for bragging rights, the true performance of the phone will be brought out through everyday use.

If you use the Android System Info app (free on Google Play), it will list "processor0" and "processor1," referring to the 2 cores.

I believe it used to say 2 cores but then after the last 3 updates or so, it began to say single core.
