so new question - How do I move Google docs to home screen?

So I've copies a bunch of files from my blackberry and got them on the g4. They were word docs so the phone converted them successfully into Google docs so they can be viewed... Sweet. Only thing is they seem to be trapped in the Google docs app. Does anyone know if converted Google doc files can somehow be moved to the home screen...into a new folder perhaps or do they have to stay in the Google docs app. No big deal if they can't, just annoys my organizational ocd (self diagnosed of course).

You can get a link from the Google docs app , then open the link in Chrome and use the add to desktop feature. This will add a shortcut to the document on your home screen. You can create a folder for them on the home screen if desired
