So No Root?

So is it safe to say gingerbread evo will not get root? I had to make an insurance claim and the phone came preloaded with gingerbread

I rooted a gb evo last night, took me over a day to figure it out but I got it done. I mean full root, clockwork, super user and a back up

My buddy just got a new evo with gb in it, thanks to members here and xda we got it rooted.

GB's been rooted a long while now.
