I do want a Note 10 Pro/Plus but couldn't wait and when I spotted a deal on the blue 8gb/512gb model for 607 euro with free postage I grabbed it, considering they were 1299 under a year ago I'm happy with that, unlocked dual sim with 12 months warranty (I'll probably get 24 when registering it with Samsung)
I should get around 400 for this Note 8 with the DeX station and other accessories anyway so it's not really a big hit to take money wise for upgrading a little I think.
Now back to discussing that future Note 10 plus thing :-)

That is so awesome, what a fantastic deal you got; and a beautiful colour to boot! Congratulations and Happy Phone Day!

Nice buy!
Still looking at the Note 10 leaks and still not convinced of an upgrade from the 9, I guess we'll see the true phone on 7th August to check out and decide but I'm still holding on to my Note 9.

August 9th is not too long to wait! And the Note 9 is still an excellent buy!

Was sat having coffee at Asda earlier and looking at my Note 9. Was thinking, this phone is going to take some beating and serious thoughts to upgrade to the Note 10.

That's exactly how I felt last year looking at my Note 8 when the 9 came out, I just wasn't willing to part with the cash/price at launch, difference wasn't big enough

The Note 10 will have to bring some serious new features and updates under the hood etc for me to buy it and move on from my Note 9.

I buy outright direct from my local Samsung Experience Store in the UK so it's a serious amount of cash to invest.

I usually sell my Samsung phones back to Samsung and they knock that off my next purchase but the Note 9 is still going strong so I'm a bit hesitant to do this.

Time will tell after the keynote and then from the reviews from early adopters before I pull the trigger , if at all. ;)

I can understand your hesitation to move from the 9 to the 10. Sometimes the apparent differences just aren't worth the upgrade. Maybe the 11 will give more of a justification for an upgrade?

To me, it's more about what it's losing than what it's gaining.
-No LED notification icons
-No Iris scanner
-No 3.5mm port
-No expandable memory (at least on non-Pro/Plus N10).

I agree that would be quite a bit to lose.

I'll keep an open mind until we can officially see what the Note 10 is all.about and what it has and hasn't got.

Right now I appreciate we are seeing renders of the Note 10 and listening to known leaksters and tech blogs and YouTube content makers.

I agree the Note 11 could be the best option if the Note 10 only brings a few enhancements and some new eye candy.
