that makes the 8.3 that much more of a great tablet, especially if you can get it for ~$250 or less.

I absolutely love mine. I'm running the Mahdi ROM and I really don't know how it could be any better (it was great stock, but I just don't like the LG skin). It's every bit as fast as my HTC One which has the Snapdragon 600. And I've never had issue with the display not being crisp enough. Maybe it's a failure in regard to sales numbers, but I couldn't care less about that unless I'm getting commission.

My theory is it will run competition with the galaxy tab 4 series, assuming they are priced lower lol, then the specs aren't bad. Hopefully they come out with something to run against the Tab Pro series this year.

Looks like the focus is on the G Watch for now...

I'm not talking about the 8.3, I'm talking about the new G pad line...

And yeah they must be going after the tab 4 range but if it comes in at $250 or above for the 8 inch then its then I cannot see it selling well at all

Oh, my bad. I didn't realize they were already coming out with new models.

The new G-Pad line is focus at what is needed to run current apps and functions. Think of them as the compact car line and the G-Pad 8.3 as the sports car. Remember there is 5 times more poor people than middle class these days.

I totally agree with you... FAIL! I purchased the G Pad 8.3 on 17-July. I was going to wait for LG's new releases but the specs are really bad. I couldn't be happier!

Spec fail but super cheap. 10in is 250. If it follows the g pad price drop, it will be 199 or less on Newegg in months lol.

Then imagine how cheap the 7 and 8in will be by Christmas! G pads for all! Lol

Look at Galaxy tab 4 specs, not the greatest either. The galaxy tab s series is what LG needs to beat. Although I did see those overheating issue articles lol

That would be great, G Pads for all!

Yes, the tab s 8.4 has got amazing features but i've read about overheating issues as well. Also, not a fan of touchwiz and bloatware.

Absolutely agree with you on that one. I use Nova Launcher Prime with my HTC One and I love my phone even more. But there's just something about Samsung I don't like (not being a fanboy)!
