So this started today

Try this

Here's a fix until Google updates Android Wear and or Play Services.
1. Uninstall Android Wear app from your phone
2. Download Android Wear version 1.4.0.2392391 or the 1.3 from here - Android Wear APKs - APKMirror
3. In the Play Store go into settings and make sure Auto-updates are turned off.
4. Install the download version on your phone.
5. Factory reset your watch.
6. Sync watch and phone and everything should be back to normal and working.


Since my watch is working I haven't tried this method but it should work.

It started again today? Dang. It's working on mine. Maybe the AVG thing is a red herring, but I did have another update on it but this time it worked ok.

Knock on wood.

I just restarted my phone and it worked again. Haven't had an issue since.
