so voice and pushing button repeatedly

Why is it on my Galaxy S4 I could hit the button on my Bluetooth to activate s voice on device just one time and say call X and it would say do you want to call X? It would then beep again automatically without me having to push the button again, I would confirm and then it would call. But the Note 3 first of all, will have the voice silenced, then,after I turn the voice back on, I will have to push the button again every time I want to speak.? Such as, me: Push button. s voice: whatever it asks you, state a command or whatever. Me: Call so and so. S Voice: Do you want to call so and so? Me: I have to push button again(hello, I'm driving here). Yes. Then it finally makes the call. I have seen this asked somewhere else, but never answered. I have searched the menu over and I havent found an answer. This is the one thing about the n3 that really drives me nuts. Any help will greatly be appreciated.
