totally great news. i signed up on moto's MFN and when I recieve the update im gonna save it and put it up for download before i install it. any word on if i'll be able to install with my rooted phone? will i need to go back to stock?

if its anything like the droid x, youll have to be stock to install it

Technically, as long as you have the stock rom and kernel that came with the DX2 you should be abel to update, rooted or not. The update will likely remove root though.

You know, that's what's going to make them stop doing soak tests. Then we all get buggy software out of the box.

Well, I just signed up for MFN, hopefully I get the update.. Or an email saying I'll get the update.. Lol
