Soft key lights not lighting up

Hi,

After updating the software on my s6 edge, the key lights work fine but dont light up. They light up when I turn the phone on and flicker sometimes when charging. I know there isn't an issue with the LED because they light up when is turned on. I don't have the settings on this model to adjust the time they light up etc, the button lights app doesn't work and I have done a factory reset and cleared cache, not worked, I also don't have power save mode or ultra save on. There isn't an option for me to change the power save lights settings either. I've tried everything suggested online.

Any help?

Root users can edit the build.prop

Rooted phones you can edit the build prop file with key light commands
ro.mot.buttonlight.timeout=0

On No Root phones Install Virtual SoftKeys (no root) from Google Play Store
