Can I not turn these off anymore? They are blinding at night. If you can tell me where the setting is, I'd appreciate.

yeah that doesn't exist on Verizon's menu.

I use an app called galaxy button lights to keep mine off all the time but it gives timeout and always on functions also.

So Verizon Note 7s have that option removed? I was looking for that setting recently. I'd like to have them on whenever I have the screen on. I've always had them set that way on previous phones.

I guess Verizon knows what's best for me.

I'm SO annoyed with all the "tinkering" Verizon continues to do with these phones. I'm not overly upset about the Cheetah stuff being removed (RAM management) because I feel that overall causes more problems then it is supposed to solve but darn some of this other stuff is VERY annoying.

I can almost understand carriers removing things that could potentially use more data or affect their network, but stuff like this makes no sense to remove. Reminds me how AT&T removed the quick toggle flashlight on my M8. I mean how does having that affect AT&T at all?

I learn something new everyday on these forums. I never knew that the carriers took away certain features. I always assumed that all models from each carrier, with the exception of the company apps had all the same features. That sucks for people who actually use these features.

Carriers take away the dumbest stuff for no real reason all the time.

Verizon is like an abusive spouse that you don't leave because you don't think you can do better
