Software Status: Official Locked. What do I do?

[AC Question]

My HTC was acting up, so I took out the SIM card thinking that would help. After inserting back in and turning it on, a Software Status message came up saying ***Locked*** It has given me several options but I am not sure which option to choose because I want to make sure my pictures, contacts, and text messages are saved.
The options are as follows:
FASTBOOT
RECOVERY
FACTORY RESET
SIMLOCK
CHECK SMARTSD
IMAGE CRC
SHOW BARCODE
