Hi Guys,

I am trying to update my Galaxy s5 AT&T. Currently i am using Kitkat and want to upgrade Lolipop. But i am getting this error.
"software update interrupted" I bought this phone from Dubai and i am using this mobile in India.

I searched lot of on internet but didn't find any solution. So please help me for this.

Thanks

Have you tried a factory data reset?

Sent from my Verizon LG G4

As per #1.6 of 40 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide..

"and you need to be registered on the carriers networks to receive their OTA updates"

You will need to be registered on the AT&T network to receive the updates as the G900A model is a non Samsung firmware model. Also, AT&T firmware is not available to download via SamMobile, apart from the initial KitKat release. This, plus their 4G/LTE modems/basebands, makes both the AT&T and Verizon models unsuitable for permanent use on other worldwide, international, networks.

So, to recap... you bought the AT&T, G900A, phone in Dubai and are using it on an Indian network.

As per my post #4, you need to be on the AT&T network with an AT&T sim card installed, to receive the updates from them as, unlike most other models, these updates are not released by Samsung.

Also, depending on which Indian carrier you are with, you will not be able to use it on the 4G/LTE Indian networks and you will need to be careful which carrier you use as it will not be compatible with some carriers 3G networks either.

In a nutshell, the AT&T model, G900A, is the worst possible model of all the 40 Galaxy S5 versions available, that you can get to use on any other network apart from AT&T's.
