Software Update

Every time I try to update my Samsung Galaxy S4 it says Software Update Unavailable. Can you please help becuase I don't want to waste my money buying a new phone.

Is she with Verizon. What version of Android are you on? 4.4, 5.0?

We are both on Verizon she has 5.0 and I have 4.4.2

If you are near a Best Buy with a Samsung center, they can probably force an update.

You have 3 ways to update your SGS4 Verizon:
By your phone ( That is not working at this time)
Using the Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant installed on your PC ( Connect your phone with your USB cable)
or Using the Samsung Kies 3 software installed on your PC ( Connect your phone with your USB cable)


I don`t know if these two last softwares work on a Mac also . There have to be Mac versions as well.

For the Samsung Kies 3 just make a find with google I can`t give you the link because Samsung takes me to the spanish site and you need the english Samsung Kies 3 software.
