Software updates for HTC Butterfly S

I live in Australia and if I purchase a grey imported HTC Butterfly S from Australian online retailers (e.g. Mobicity and Kogan) will I be able to get OTA software updates?

Since the phone haven't officially been released in Australia, does that mean that mobile carriers can't be bothered to run tests and then push out the OTA software updates?

yes you will, OTA comes directly from HTC in the case of this phone as it is carrier unlocked. A few users (I think 901s LTE version) still didn't get an OTA update but I have the Taiwanese version (901e no LTE) and got an OTA update in September.
