Sold my iPad, get a Transformer for just reading comics?

A buddy told me Amazon has a Transformer for $179 and it would be great for comics but I was not sure about the 1280 resolution


I am coming off an iPad Air with super resolution and worry going down to 1280 will be drastic with comics.


What do you think? Is it easy to get my cbr/cbz comics to the transformer, create folders to read?


My only purpose of getting a tablet is for my 500 GB comic collection, everything else is bonus!

No Android has 500gb storage even with sd card. I would agree that 1280 isn't great for comic

Went ahead and bought a Kindle Fire HD 8.9 to give it a whirl
