solution for galaxy players usb sync problems?

[Android Central Question]

i had great difficulty getting any of several pc's, both win7 and win10, to sync up with
galaxy players, 4.0 and 5.0. finally had success with a long (1 meter) usb type c cable.
there seems to be a timing conflict here and the extra delay of a few nsec makes the
difference . testing this phenom with several pc's and several galaxy's suggests that
this is a widespread problem. hope this helps youse guys. ricardo of topanga

There shouldn't be any difference between 0.5 meters and 10 meters with quality cables. (With cheap cables, you can never tell.) The protocol allows for delays.
