(Solved) Facebook Messenger voice clip problem

So I had an S8 plus never had any problems with sending voice clips on Facebook Messenger. Even after I got the Oreo update still no problems. But as soon as I upgraded to the S9 plus it started acting crazy.

Basically when I hold the microphone down and start recording it's supposed to just go through if I let go or if I drag it up to the X it cancels it. The problem is sometimes when I let go for it to send it just keeps on recording and I actually have to back out of the app and go back in and then it works.

It happens on and off all day. I've even tried force stopping, clearing data and reinstalling the app. It's driving me crazy! Has anyone else had this problem?

Exact same thing here except it's not off and on, it's every time. Not a single issue until my S9... Tried everything! I would so love a fix for this.

I figured it out guys if you notice you'll feel a vibration if you hold it down hard don't hold it hard barely touch it don't press the screen is pressure-sensitive if you hold it down hard it wants to stick

Well I don't feel the vibration but it definiely worked!

I just realized it's because I have vibration feedback turned off.

So I'm going to be honest... I read the fix and laughed over how silly I thought it was! I tried it anyway and I cannot believe that worked! Simply pushing on that button lighter solved the problem and I have been going nuts about it since I got this phone a couple of months ago! Thank you for the solution!

I try holding it light and still intermittent.

Can I change the settings for it to work. It is too sensitive for my touch many times I feel the vibration 30 seconds into a message
