[Solved]Google Messages not displaying stored contact info

Saved number from google messages. Name doesn't display. delete and repeat. same thing. cleared cache reboot phone same thing. I'm stuck folks.

First, go to Settings>Apps, select Messages, then Permissions, and make sure the app has Contacts permission.
