[SOLVED] Router login

If this isn't in the right area, please move it.

I just went in to manage my router in the connection settings > WiFi and realized that the setting isn't there anymore. Or am I just being silly and not seeing it. I also tried going to my router login site and it won't load. Is this the router's way of telling me it's old and needs to be replaced? It is almost 10 years old. Thanks for any input.

I presume you're entering the default IP address for the router in your URL bar, correct? Are you certain the IP address was never changed?

Have you tried using the command ipconfig in the terminal on a Windows PC? Default gateway will be your router's IP address.

I assume I'm entering it correctly. If it changed, I don't know how. I'm techy, but not that techy.

I pinged the default gateway and it completed within seconds, so now I'm even more confused.

Ok, so I ended up unplugging the modem and router for a couple of minutes and then plugged them both back in. It's all working now. I should have just done that from the start. Thanks everyone.

Lol. I honestly should always try that first. I don't know why I didn't in this instance.
