Some 3D games I have tried on the EVO 4G.

I have tried two.

Heroes of Sparta $2.99, by Gameloft (must be purchased on a PC from their site)
Homerun Battle 3D $4.99 in the Android Market.

Both are pretty cool and I love the huge screen. Makes seeing the details and the controls are a lot easier to handle.

It looks like their site only allows for Verizon as a carrier in the US. How did you install?

Chose Verizon. It works just fine and I got the SMS right away.

I was very intrigued with Home Run Battle, but $5 is even steep for me (poor college student) Is it worth $5 would you say? Replay value pretty high?

it has multiplayer and is pretty addicting. you can look at videos on youtube if you are unsure on how the gameplay is. it's not like regular baseball. it is just you and the pitcher and you get points for hitting the ball whatever distance, etc, but the main goal is to get a homerun.

How is the framerate...? The gpu on snapdragon worries me when it comes to intense 3d gaming... is it smooth or choppy?

HomeRun Battle is amazing. 5 Bucks is a lot for a small game but this game has tons of replay value and is loads of fun and very crisp surprisingly

Hero of Sparta has crap framerate. I can see it now, but when I first got it, it wasnt noticeable. Makes battles really sluggish and delayed by a few seconds.

Dungeon Hunter runs pretty good. As mentioned in another thread, the lighting and texturing is not as nice as the Pre version, but it makes up for it with size and nicer looking charcters and easier gameplay. You don't feel like you have to pull out a magnifying glass to play.

I just looked at Gamelofts website. There is a Sprint option now and the only phone available is the Evo.

And the price for Hero of Sparta is 4.99. When did you see it for 2.99?

Made a mistake. It was that price on the Pre at one time.

Hey. I'll definitely 2nd the nod for 3D Homerun Battle. The game is ADDICTING to say the least. In fact, I just finished playing against a few opponents in KOREA! The game rocks, is fluid and is very entertaining.

All i get is a username and thats it

But gotta say Online Head to head with PiP is damn cool for a phone game

I played Homerun Battle, it's a pretty fun game.

I played hero of sparta on the Pre, so I'm not sure how it runs on the Evo.
As far as gameplay it's definitely worth it. Good mobile game.
