Android Central Question

Good evening all,

So I'm back into Samsung after spending way to long on Huawei. I have the Galaxy Fe

However some of my apps won't send notifications (i.e Snapchat) I've tried turning off battery optimisation for it. But the problem persists (as well as logging out and uninstalling) is there something I may be missing? Thanks in advance

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be sure -- you've gone to Settings>Apps, selected the app in question, then Notifications, and made sure everything there is turned on?

Is it only when the phone is asleep that you don't get notifications, or also when you're actively using the phone.

Ahh finally it let me into my account

Yes I did try that option and the answer is neither both off and on I am not receiving notifications

The problem all so far is snapchat, which is not available in safe mode

It did work when I first for the phone last week. Now it's not working

So your not getting any badge notification, nothing at the top status bar , but you go in the app you see notification ?

When I go into the app I see I've received messages. I've toggled the app notifications on and off as well. The are all set to to on

ok so!
Possible fix!
Went to the app cleared the cache logged out deleted the. Fresh install seemed to work. (seems like a simple solution to miss annoying but simple)

Hmm , you did Uninstall it and install again in beginning?

Several times. I just never tried clearing the cache (my brain was skipping seeing that option apparently)

So cleared log out uninstall the. Reload and it works

Usually Uninstalling clear it out and sets up new , but if this way works thats good
