Some are of the contacts ring setting are set silent

I just updated the app to pro, and i just started playing with the app. I notice that some of my contacts were showing silent as the ringtone. I change it so it would show a ringtone, but it would go back to showing silent. Do i have to save it before i back out of a certain contact or is a there a way to save it after i change the setting for a certain contact? Any ideas on this?
