Some calls are blocked?

[Android Central Question]

Ive had this issue for a while now, some people have told me they are unable to call my phone. They get 3 beeps and thats it, I get no missed call or nothing.

It seems to be mostly from iphone users but 2 people have said they tried from landlines and had no joy but this is unconfirmed.

Things I have tried:
Changing carriers/networks with new sim, same number
Put phone into flight mode and back
Checked my blocked callers list (empty)
Turned off my smart caller id function
Turned off my spam caller function
Checked all other call related settings cant see anything out of place
Just last night I performed a hard reset of my phone, still the same!!!

Im tearing my hair out here as im missing important phone calls.

My phone is a samsung galaxy s9, always kept up to date with updates etc

Any suggestions/help welcome

Do you use DND? Can also try this in safe mode .
But this only happens with iphone users like you mentioned?

Mustang, whats DND (sorry not great at IT stuff) also how would I put the phone into safe mode, via the same menu I used to do the reset?

B Diddy, ermmmm maybe possible. My boss is one person who cant contact me so I could swap my sim into my gf's phone and tell him to call me but she also has a galaxy, an s8 I think.

Also, I dont think I am receiving text messages from those people either. I remember one guy showed me a load of texts he had sent me and I got none of them!

Oh ok no thats not on either

I do receive calls just not from certain people

Any other ideas?

Which carrier?
You may need to contact them as see if there is something on there end causing the problems.

Yeah but I changed carriers not long ago from virgin to tesco and its still the same?

Suppose it wont hurt to ask though
