Several of my apps that use mapping functions do not show the street names anymore in my new Samsung Galaxy S8. I had a Samsung Galaxy S6 edge previously, and it all worked fine. 10 days ago, I purchased the S8, and several of my apps, such as "Linxup" and "Maps Measure" do not show the street names anymore, just the satellite view shows up.
I have spoken with the developers for both products, and they did the standard "uninstall and install" of the apps, "turn off and turn on the phone" routine, and they also made sure that my "location' was turned on ( which it was ).
Incidentally, Google Maps works perfectly, all the streets show up, but these apps now do not show the street names. I have cleared the Cache through a file manager program, but the problem is still there.
Is there anyone out in this forum that has a suggestion for me ? Thank you so much.
