Hey, so I have the i337 (at&t) S4. I'm coming from the Nexus 4, where pretty much anything goes hacking wise and just wanted to get a few things straight about kernels before i re-dive into that world.
How does kernel compatibility work? obviously you need a kernel made for your specific device model, but beyond that, how to they mix and match with different ROMs/ how do you know? Right now i'm running a port of the google edition 4.2.2. If it's based off a stock ROM can i proceed openly as though it was like my nexus 4 and any kernel goes?
Thanks in advance.
