Hi guys. I'm new here and I want to share with you some questions regarding my moto xpe:
I've been using it for almost 2 weeks, getting 36-40h without charging it, but getting 19% standby time and 20% sot (about 2-3h)
Is that normal? Should I be able to get more SOT? (and less time away of the charger, ofc)

Sry for my bad english, I'm not a native speaker :(

Hello Stallerz, welcome to the forums! Battery life is very relative and it will depend on your personal usage. Things like Bluetooth, location, extensive use while on mobile or bad cell signal will use more battery. But, as the previous poster said, 40 hours and 3 hours SoT are pretty good numbers.

Thank you Javier and Rocketsaucev2
I was looking some posts and people were getting 4-5h sot. That's why I had to ask. Glad to know that everything is ok.

I'm getting 4 hours SOT. Now, that may go up as I deleted the Facebook app last night so we'll see.

I don't track that. I use my phone all day long but I would bet it's not more than 8 hours at a time. I'm always near a charger.

I can go over a day without charging. Average a day and a half. My screen on time is only ok though. Between three and a half and four hours. And I don't use a lot of apps. It's mostly texts, news and facebook in the browser.

Yeah, I have the same "problem" the phone radio/standby is draining a lot, though I'm getting 24h+, but I don't use it very much, I think if I keep doing things on my xpe (heavy chrome use, spotify, texting, camera, and so on), it will last half a day lol

Gonna see your guide, thanks

edit: people tend to say things like "the battery will get better after a few weeks of use..." is that true? cause I have it like almost 3 weeks, too late to improve or still hope?

I don't think so. It definitely improves after a solid week of use, and after an os update you have to give it time to settle in, but after three weeks, it's settled.
