Some saved photos turned sideways?

I own a Galaxy S9 Plus. For no reason I can figure out, I went to my saved photos in my gallery, and many of my 'saved photos' are now turned 'sideways' which is not how they use to be? Any ideas? Thanks...

Were they in the correct orientation in your gallery before?

You can edit the orientation within the gallery. item the photo in gallery, then tap the rotate/crop icon on the lower left. Then press the rotate icon on the left until it's in the orientation you want.
