Somebody , Anybody I need assistance

I'm stuck on the white screen of death, I need a way to factory hard reset without doing it on the phone, LG's site is useless I need an app or a how to or a command line method from windows 8 (although this one isn't rooted) something I can't replace my phone for at least a week and this has got to be fixed, It happened after replacing the screen after I dropped it, I've verified the screen is good and see no damage on the board or flex cables, what now?

Have you tried doing a hard reset?

"Turn phone off, while phone is off hold the down volume button, then press the home key on the keyboard and the power button. As soon as the phone comes back on, let go of keys and it should then be reset. You will lose all your info so take out the SD card.

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu Key and touch Settings.
2 Touch the Privacy
4 Touch Factory data reset.
5 Touch Reset phone.
6 Touch Erase everything."

It doesn't get me anywhere, I've tried several variations similar too. Thanks for givin' me a holler though< I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a command line reboot(which may not be available to me), a really'good desktop app or I'm screwed!
