Someone Smart!

I would love to see someone program an APP to do item recognition. We have Shazam and bar code apps that recognizes songs, etc., would be awesome to have an app that could recognize items, plants, animals, birds, etc., etc., around us. Come on some of you smart guys...get at it. Maybe in conjunction with Wikipedia.

Have you used Google Goggles? Not everything you want but it does get the names of items you scan.

Goggles is working on adding that stuff anyways. Its just really hard to be able to do things like plants and animals because they can look so different from one another.
