I was on stock ZVD and I rooted with GingerSnap then installed Xonia. I went back to one of my backups and now my phone says ESN is unknown and I get no service. I was going to try the ##SCRTN# (##72786#) code to reprogram my phone but Sprint will not give me my MSL.

FIXED
I just reverted back to VD using the simplified unroot. Even the MSL codes that Sprint gave me wouldn't work.

It sounds like your NVRAM got pretty messed up. ##SCRTN# probably won't fix it, but you might as well try that, and if it doesn't work, try ##786#.

Call Sprint, ask to be transfered to *tech support*, tell them your phone is having trouble with data after an firmware update and they suggested you do a ##786# reset, and now it is asking you for some code and you are stuck. They'll give you a 6 digit #, that is your MSL. Alternatively you can try CDMAWS.

Im on WS right now and i cannot get it to read. If i go to the ##786 menu all i get is cannot read SPC code error

Is your phone recognized by WS?

If not, then you have to get that working first. It really isn't that much effort to get your PRL from Sprint if you talk to the right people and give them a legitimate reason as above.
