something is using 3g internet...

I took my phone off the charger around 7am. It is now 10am and im at 44% battery left.

Now, where i work i roam alot. but i can still push a full day sometimes...usually throw the phone o nthe charger around noon, but today this guy is just sucking up juice!

I notict that there is ALOT of activity on my 3g arrows. All my sync options are turned off. I sync manually periodically through the day...internet is off, no streams, but for some reason this evo stil wants to use the internet!

any hints?

I would say get SystemPanel and see if any of the apps or background processes is sucking CPU...this should give you an idea on where to start looking for the rogue app thats keeping your connection open

In the meantime, I suspect a reboot will solve the problem for now.

+1 for SystemPanel to troubleshoot this issue. I experienced a similar issue a while back, and by opening SystemPanel I was able to see that one of my sports apps was sucking a lot of CPU in the background. killed the app and the 3g went silent. Never would have been able to determine the cause without SP.
