Something keeps killing Pandora and I need her.

Ok, I upgraded to an S9 about a month ago. I've been using Pandora for years. I've never had this problem before, but sometimes, when I pause my music, the app just dies. I try to resume the song I was on and it's just gone. Sometimes it resumes just fine. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to it at all.

I have messed around with the settings, thinking that there was some kind of battery setting that killed inactive apps. There was something like that on my S7. So far, I've found nothing.

Any ideas?

For what it's worth, I have this same issue on my LG V20 and have not found a solution either.

I have the same problem with Amazon music on my s9 and had it on my v20. Music is playing, I answer a call, and when I hang up, the music app is no longer open or available to resume play.

It's an issue with the music player and android not keeping the app alive during normal RAM cleanups.
