Hey guys!

I know that sound kinda generic...but I just got my 6P today...and I love it so that's why I wanna be sure about this. It sound that something might be moving inside my 6p. And I think it is from somewhere on the top (I suppose from the camera). For example if I put it down camera first..sometimes I can hear this different noise..like something is shaking. Also if I shake the phone..I can also hear the same exact noise.

Does anyone know what this is? Anyone has any idea if this is normal? Did anyone notice it as well?

Best regards!

Auto focus lens elements, completely normal.

I asume this might be the case since it sounds like it might be glass moving? Idk if I am right..Idk exactly how autofocus does. I can hear it if I also shack my phone. it's from the topside so that's why I am thinking it might be the camera. Might there be something else causing this? Do you also have the 6P? Does yours do the same?

I hear the same thing whenever I toss my phone on a bed or desk. It's normal.

Yup..just read an article..it seems to be the camera auto focus that normally it is moving. Start the camera and then try to shake your phone..no mor rattle cuz it is constantly focusing. At least it is not making any noise anymore on mine. Please try this as well and let me know if you hear it while the camera app is opened and you shake the phone

Best regards!

New 6P here, and I have no camera rattle. Whether it's placing the phone down, or literally shaking it in front of my ear. I would be annoyed if any of my phones rattled.

I suppose it is how hypersensitive you are to this. I have heard it with a Nexus 4, both my Moto X's, and my 6P.

I have OCD and I definitely heard it in my Nexus 4, but there's definitely no rattling ... maybe my hearing is going in my old age though!

It's the just the auto focus thing in the camera is no big deal

No big deal. I hear it too.

Open up the camera app and put your phone down and you won't hear it at all.

So 'no big deal', but how do you explain it not happening in some devices?

Yeah I'm curious about that too. I was just joking with my old age comment, I'm only 35. And I do have OCD and any rattling would certainly get my attention. Not saying it's a big deal but if mine was rattling, for whatever reason, and others weren't if at the very least be curious.

Hey,

I have the same issue...whenever I drop the camera on a bed or a sofa, I can clearly hear the rattle. I spoke to Huawei and they finally agreed to replace it after discussing it for 20 days. Luckily I noticed this on the 3rd day itself. Supposed to get a new one this Monday...lets see. I also tested with the camera on and I could still hear the rattle. Not as much as before, but it's there. Check out the video and let me know if that's what you are hearing. Other than this issue, the phone is superb!

It's just the auto focus elements in the camera. You didn't really need a replacement. I've had that same rattle in previous phones, and it hasn't affected anything.
