Ok, so you can see from my sig what I have going on. Well at least I did. I ran the KingsKernel #3 yesterday with no problems. Last night it rebooted for no aparent reason but it has done that before so I didn't think anything of it. This morning I woke up and everything was ok, alarm went off and I checked my e-mail Tweet deck and some other things. Then it froze up. I Pulled the battery, rebooted and froze up again. I did this three times before I decided to do a Nandroid restore to before I changed Kernels. Boink! froze again. Restored even earlier, nope went back to my backup from just after flashing the new radio and that is when it got really bad. To make a long story short I got an error saying my sd card was damaged, I tried copying my files to my pc (not all made it) I reformated the sd card because none of the files were readable. Now I have a phone with no files in my sd and still can get into recovery with clockwork and I still have the superuser app. but nothing else. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

So you can't get into recovery by holding the volume down and power?
Your card is reformatted already right?
You try running unrevoked 3 to add CW recovery again?
You try wiping data and cache while you were in recovery(earlier)?

Yes I can get into recovery but I have no files.
Yes my card is reformated to FAT32.
No I did not wipe data or cache, I guess I didn't think of that at the time.
Now what?

I would wipe. Then if that doesn't work I would do a fresh rom install.

Well I am back to 2.1-update1 so I just downloaded ROM manager and I will see how far I can get. Thanks FD2 I will post here when I am back up again.

I dont know if its just a coincidence or what but my SD card somehow corrupted today to. I noticed I couldn't open it in Astro so i popped it out and back in and it said its corrupted and needs to be formatted. I haven't done any kernels since try hydra a month or so ago. I'm still on the stock 2.1 rom and 1.00 radio. I dont appear to be having any root problems. Just SD card... maybe we got hit with a solar flare

That has happened to me twice, when my SD card became corrupt. Now I'm paranoid and backup to my pc whenever I do a backup. Hope you get it back to where you want it.

Your phone was OC'd I suppose. Not all phones are created equal and some phones do not like ANY overclock. Just like with a computer too high an overclock or with an overclock period you risk data corruption including the SD card and internal storage. This includes the android system itself. Try formatting your SD card, flash a new ROM via clockwork mod. Keep it at stock voltage and speed for a few days to make sure you don't have a hardware issue. Then resume playing around with your phone.

The funny thing is I actually lower the clock before I went to bed to make sure that nothing bad happened while I was sleeping. Something went wrong for sure, but I will take your advice Qazme and see what happens.

Yeah your best bet is to put it back, cpu / kernel wise, as close to stock as you can. And see if you have any issues. If you still do I would suggest putting a stock rom back on it to make sure it isn't a hardware issue. That would be the last step in testing it if it still has issues because anything beyond that point would be a replacement phone.

It was late when I did it. My wife thought I was taking about something else lol, that's why she gave me a dirty look.
