Something wrong go with my screen?

Sorry if this thread is in the wrong place but I need help I was using my phone yesterday then I threw it on my bed gently like I always do, then my phone flashed a notification so I looked at it and my screen was going fuzzy with white lines going mental on it? The screen was fine so I didn't panic to much I just took the battery out and reset it now I can't turn my phone on the light up keys at the bottom work and the LED and the top does but my screen won't light up it just stays black anyone help?

Welcome to Android Central! Any recent drops, trauma, or water damage? It sounds like the screen might have failed. If the phone is still under warranty, contact Samsung. Otherwise, bring it to a repair shop.
