So I went from Kasocinate back to KangBang 1.3. Went through the whole process and restored my backup. It all seemed to go without a hitch. Played around for a little then had to switch my computer out for a loaner here at work.

got the new one step the way I like, installed the samsung drivers and plugged my phone inn to keep the charge full.

Nothing. No beep no little icons in the status bar, just nothing. I thought oh great, now I have that connection issue. Started looking for the thread on here for it checked a few things..spent maybe 15 minutes on it.

Then I realized I never plugged it into the USB port on the computer.

In my old days of tech support it used to be "did you plug the monitor in?" now in 2011 it is "did you plug your usb cable in". AWESOME!

yeah I don't miss my tech support days one bit. I did it for the PA Dem and Repub committees, and a few school districts. For such smart people, they can be really dumb.
