I'm thinking of moving to the S3 from my blackberry. Blackberry has a really easy sync to itunes option, but syncing to the S3 seems difficult. Can apps like Easyphone tunes or apps like Songbird sync music to the sd card instead of the device memory?

Yeah I saw that. But I'm not sure if it saves everything to the phone or if you can choose to put it on the SD Card.

Do you know what the difference between Easy Phone Sync and Easy Phone Tunes? Also the blog post and the Google Play description say that Easy Phone Sync is free for a limited time for UK customers only, but I'm in Canada and the app appears to be free - just says install and no price.

Not sure on the difference of those two apps you mentioned.

As far as being free, I think they point they are trying to make is this could be a introductory offer and eventually a fee could be tagged to it down the road.

If it can be placed on the phone's internal memory then chances are it can be transfered to sdcard also, but don't quote me there..

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, I just saw your post and remembered the blog I referred you to.

Doubletwist doesn't work with the MTP on the Galaxy S3 according to their support website.

MTP in general seems like a huge pain in the neck. One of the reasons I chose Android was because I thought you could just drag and drop files into and off the phone. I've been using Kies to sync with a folder, but all my files come out a mess, with incorrect artist and album info.
